Church Outing to Jinan Maisan & Jeonju Hanok Village

This past weekend was our first church outing of the new year. We went for a morning trek to Maisan Mountain, which is pretty much two small peaks that look like horse ears. It was definitely one of the easier Korean hikes we've been on and it turned out to be an absolutely gorgeous day!

Half way through the hike there was a small temple. The guy who had lived at the temple awhile ago had built these beautiful Buddha rock towers all over the place. The temple was also decorated with lots of beautiful lanterns for Buddha's upcoming birthday.

After our short trek we headed to a nearby city to visit a traditional village. It was a gorgeous day so we spent the afternoon walking around taking in the sights.

An excellent day with friends! And an excellent way to enjoy the spring weather!
