Picnic in Pine Tree Park

Today we went on a field trip! 

We took all of the kids to a park 10 minutes away and had a picnic, collected fall leaves, and had a treausure hunt! It was lots of fun, but very tiring on the teachers part! But the kids seemed to have an awesome time, and they were pretty tuckered out by the end of the day! 

We had lunch at the park on some blankets, and all the kids brought their own food. We were told to not worry about bringing a lunch, because there would be MORE than enough for all the teachers. Brian and I were both a little confused, and I was kind of worried we'd be hungry all day... However, it started in the morning, when the kids first started arriving some of them brought coffee's for us (I ended up having 2 first thing in the morning), then at snack time all the kids shared their crackers, cookies, and whatever else they had with us. At lunch time, a lot of the parents had packed separate lunches for the teachers as well. We have a picnic blanket FULL of Kimbab (sushi-type roll with egg and crab in it) and fruit! Plus we had an endless supply of drinks coming from the kids! We were so full by the end of the day! We LOVE field trips!

** Special note about Eddie, everyone thinks he is a bit 'special' in his own way... He is a bit of a trouble maker at school and a bit all over the place, so needless to say he is always getting in trouble... Well one day, one of the Korean teachers discovered how to keep him in line. All you have to do is tell Eddie that if he doesn't listen you're going give him a tail, turn him into a robot, a zebra, etc. and he will shut up and listen very quickly... all you have to do is PRETEND to wave a wand, say abracadabra, and he thinks he's in BIG trouble...
