Being away from your home country sure makes you patriotic!
On Friday at school Brian and I handed out little Canadian flag pins that the Mol's had brought with them and some Canada stickers to all of our students. The kids loved it and they were all very happy that it was Canada's birthday.
We continued the festivities later that night and celebrated with some of our fellow Canadians at a foreigner bar in town. What could be better than drinking some beer (sadly, not Canadian...), listening to a live band play Canadian music and eating poutine! It was a great day to be Canadian (in Korea...)!!!
