Last week, our article in our Time for Kids magazine at school was about CANADA. We talked all week with the kids about Canada, the land, the food, the animals, you name it we talked about it... To finish up the lesson I decided to have my kids write letters to Canada. Then, being the genius that I am, I posted them on Facebook, and asked all of my lovely Canadian Facebook friends for a small favor. Luckily, everyone was very gracious and sent WONDERFUL replies to my students! Here are a few of the letters of my students and pictures of them:

This past Monday I printed out the replies and handed them out to the kids. They were SOOOOOOOOOOOO excited! They had so much fun reading the letters and passing them around the classroom reading what other people had written. I would definitely say the assignment was a success!
