We made it!!!

Just a QUICK note to let everyone know we made it safely!

After a very LOOOOOOONG flight (6 movies later...) we arrive in Seoul. We quickly found our bags and were escorted to the bus stop and boarded a bus that would take us to our new home, Cheong ju! We were lucky enough to meet a girl, who is also an English teacher! we're hoping to meet up with her this weekend!

Our temporary apartment for the week is VERY small. It has just a single bed, which really didn't matter last night because we were both so tired we pretty much just passed out. Also, we can't figure out our hot water system, so this morning we had cold showers! BRRR!!! but otherwise, we will be living in a VERY nice neighbourhood. There is lots of shops and restaurants around, and our apartment (our temporary and our permanent one) are just across the street from the school. We got the chance to explore the neighbourhood a little bit, but not too much... more exploring will happen soon I am sure!


Tonight we're going out for dinner with the couple we are replacing at the school and a few other people. And then tomorrow we will begin shadow teaching, and attempting to get the hang of the whole teaching/classroom situation. We have A LOT to learn!

There is so much to tell, but not a lot of time right now, hopefully we'll be able to get a post, or a couple, up in the next few days, as well as some pictures!
