It's official!
We have our flights booked and we will be leaving the country on September 25th at 9:35am! We fly into San Fransisco and from there take a 13 hour flight over to the Incheon Airport in Seoul! We leave Saturday morning and we get into Korea Sunday night, a whole day and a half later!
Now that the flights are booked our time left in Canada is going extremely quickly! Brian and I still have a lot to do, including lots of packing and planning, as well as a bit more school work (a TEFL online course) for Brian... We are sure the next 8 days are going to fly by and we're hoping to make the most of them!
For those people who reside in Calgary, we are planning to have a open house goodbye party at my parents house on September 23rd from 7:00-10:00pm for anyone who wants to come! We would love the chance to see everyone one last time!
We have been lucky enough to get the chance to talk to the teachers that we will be replacing. They have been super helpful getting us prepared for what to come and what to expect. We will be taking over their apartment once they leave and they have graciously sold us some of their furniture and household items to us! We bought 10 items from them including a bookshelf, a couple of tables, a lamp, and an iron for a total of 42,000 Korean won which is roughly $38 Canadian. A great deal if I do say so myself!
